Getting started with Luduma

Luduma is a study partner that sits beside your textbook: a book, a board and an assistant in one window. Here is how to get from zero to your first question.

1. Download the app

Use the Download button on the home page. It picks your system (macOS, Windows or Linux) and the other two are one click away. You do not need an account to download.

2. Install and open it

Open the file you downloaded and follow your system’s usual install steps, then start Luduma. On first run the app shows Connect account.

3. Connect your account

  1. Press Connect account. The app opens your browser.
  2. Sign in with Google.
  3. Check that the device name is your computer and press Allow.
  4. Go back to the app. It is connected, and your free credit is there.

A new account gets $1 of free use, once, with no card. You can connect up to three devices to one account.

4. Ask your first question

Open a textbook, pick an exercise and ask the assistant. It gives hints and checks your steps instead of handing over the answer, and the board shows the method while you write your own answer.

If something looks wrong

  • The browser did not open. Copy the address the app shows into your browser by hand.
  • The code expired. Codes are short-lived. Press Connect account again to get a new one.
  • Used a different Google account than you meant. Sign out of Google in the browser and connect again.
